John, my namesake had to have his name spelled with an "e" because he knew he would be passing it on. ;-) WRT tort reform. You know as well as I, the medical community (like any other group practicing self preservation), goes to extremes in the CYA department. We both know that malpractice is figured into a professionals overhead, automatically. I live in a small rural community and have personal friends that include an internist, a surgeon, three dentists, and whatever that guy who works on the landing gear is called (g), and each readily admit that they order tests that in years past would be unnecessary.
