The President did not involve himself in a local conflict. Instead he elevated it to the national level by saying that stereotyping still exists not in the local community only but nationwide also. This nation also needs to be credited for the giant strides it has made towards racial integration. We have a African-American President and Attorney-General. This incident happened in a State with a Black Governor and in a town with a Black woman mayor. I wonder how this is doing within our police forces.
