Ejabat, fielding reporters' questions after giving the keynote speech at the telecommuting expo last week in San Francisco, dismissed rumors that Lucent was eying Ascend. Ejabat said the two companies never talked. Walter, Thanks for the post. But I'm wondering what is the source of this story? I cannot find any reference to it in any wire. Given that the rumor of talks hit many wires, I would have thought that this item would have been reported at least on 1 wire. Thanks in advance for your help! Gary Korn
