There will always be some sort of advantage being held by the large financial institutions and funds versus what's available to the individual investor. I think this is something everyone can live with but 'gaming' the system is becoming less acceptable. Anyone can implement program trading, even on many of the main stream online brokers PC/Mac platforms. If the "algos" are all being lined up to "game" the market, then this needs to be monitored and stopped, imo.
