I don't think so, either.

Tell this to GYN's who walk away from obstetrics because their premiums go into 100's of thousands.

I had a client a few years ago who did just that. I believe his premiums had gone up to 365K.

What is astonishing is that the "plans" we have heard of to date just act as though you can actually reduce costs without addressing tort reform. You can't. It has to be at the top or very near the top of the list.

Obama, when speaking to the AMA, flat out said -- he isn't proposing tort reform. Were I a physician in that room I would have gotten up and walked out the door, right then and there.

Because no effort can be considered serious unless it addresses tort reform.
