He was in no way prepared for this job

Guess I'm an anachronism. By me the first qualification is an understanding and fealty to founding principles; limited government, individual liberty, all that nonsense.

During my lifetime only one successful Republican candidate seemed to possess that. The best that can be said of the rest is that they weren't as openly antithetical as Obama. And that's damning with faint praise.
