They went after Joe the Plumber, the Palin children, Frank the Fireman, now they'll trash Jimmy the Cop.> I think they could not find or make up anything they thought would stick. I believe the back up plan was to shift the discussion to the 911 caller. That plan faded after Obama tried to walk it back. Just a snip from a lib on a local web site that was discussing this. "And no one has yet to answer MY question as to just how much you see (and knee-jerk report as 2 black men breaking and entering) as you are driving by at 15, 20 ,30 MPH? Were there even 2 men? I would like ya'll to drive by my house-I will be doing "something" on my front porch/door--without STOPPING to SEE just exactly WHAT I'm doing before knee-jerk reacting and calling 911 you will have no clear concise thing to report-and then I'm quite sure she put pedal to metal and did NOT stick around to verify her report. Jeezly-Crow- even I walk across the road when there is a strange car in my neighbors drive and I know they are gone. before I call the sheriff-- of course I take my guard dog with-but the point is to verify before you profile. and I still would like to know if this woman is black, white, hispanic,paranoid,nosy...... I listen to west metro scanner ALL DAY LONG--and some of the calls these LEO'S have to deal with lots of acting stupidly going on. You can even hear the occassional officer do a big sigh and then acknowledge the call. it's ridiculous. I'm still laying on that oh so studiply acting 'good?' samaritan. it was irresponsible to not be clear about what you see and what you are accussing someone of."
