Everyone believes that budgets have to be balanced. Getting from here to there is where we have disagreement.

The only way to do it is a combination of eliminating unnecessary spending (like going to war to promote freedom in countries that do not want us meddling),spending money to spur economic growth in our own country, and not providing economic incentives to help the super rich to get richer.

Available data has shown that the Bush tax cuts to the super rich did not create new jobs. We saw plenty of evidence that the Bush tax cuts created fortunes for a small group of people who did not create jobs but spent the money lavishly on themselves.
