I hope Gates and the policeman both go for beer with Obama. I know Gates has accepted.

Having flown back from China, and been very sick on the flight (I understand Gates was also sick), I cannot imagine having to be "polite" to someone responding to me as a criminal when I am home and finally think I'm going to get to go to bed. I'd probably break in to tears from fatigue, rather than responding aggressively, but that's my conditioning. I'd hope a police officer would "get" that members of the public may not be in any state of preparedness when accosted by the police.

On Krugman; Paul was a gentleman and argued his points very well this morning on Stephanopolis. He made George Will look like the person outside of the mainstream American thought - interesting to me. He had a twinkle in his eye I thought.
