It may be the same thing with the other bill a while back, too many dems up for reelection in 2010, so they need a few RINOs to fill the gaps.

Some Democrats are waking up to the fact that universal health care isn't a panacea.

Other Democrats think Obama's plan won't go far enough to control the costs of prescription meds. If the plan goes through as is, Big Pharma may ironically be the winner.

Of course, liberals will blame conservatives for that. They always blame their own failures on other people ...
