All Obama and the House Dems have to do is admit they went 'over the hill' on this one, several thousand miles too far, and push the reset button. I honestly think people WANT and NEED to know why their hospital bills are so very high. And for people who haven't had a single thing medically wrong with them (AND theirs) in the last 15 years WILL care when they see the experiences of others.

Perhaps, when people understand what went into the various medical bills in the first place we will have a starting off point.

We need to know just WHY the Taxpayers have to foot the bills for those who don't/won't carry their own ...

We need to know WHY people who are poor aren't on Medicaid now....

We need to know why ILLEGALS don't go back home and have their country give them health care.

We need to have EVERY department in the Federal Government have access to ILLEGALS names and fake SS numbers and SHARE those things with all other Departments.

For the about 10-11 Million people who really want and need health care insurance, we could provide those people with a
BASIC High Risk Health Insurance for catastrophic problems.

Rather, we need a set of reforms that will each help mightily to fix what is really wrong with the American health-care system: the fact that no one — doctors and patients alike — has any incentive to care what things cost. Because they can be enacted independently, only one ox would be gored at a time and thus only one set of lobbyists would be fighting each reform instead of banding together to fight for the status quo.
