That's like saying one "safety" valve for our representatives is to put us in jail if they don't like the way we vote. If you are doing something legal, like speaking, you shouldn't be arrested, especially if you are on your own property, and you have broken no law except offending someone with state power. Police shouldn't get to use the state to "get even" - I know some of them do, but when they do they should be punished. That's not why we give the police power.
