Quite frankly I have never heard of a state totally destroying the paper documents when being computerized.

Does that mean that Hawaii destroyed all of the records of births going back decades even before Obama's year of birth of 1961.

The other point I would make is that Obama himself must have a copy of his own birth certificate-----the original as that was 1961----parents do not throw away birth certificates under normal circumstances unless they have something to hide.

Of course, if there is no original birth certificate and Obama was born in Kenya as stated by various sources there was no birth certificate to be destroyed.

One thing for sure CNN has elevated the question to the national level. Certainly it will make for more discussion of the whole question about his being an American Citizen.
