This is what the salon excerpt says: ...the Obama administration is now attempting to induce the Justice Department to issue a ruling that Barofsky's office is not independent at all... There are two words there stand out namely "Obama Administration" and "attempting". This is not a done deal since it needs Obama's approval. Besides, mature political junkies agree that in any Administration there are internal squabblings amongst the bureaucrats. What is wrong with that. Picking up on straws like these demonstrates the level of frustration of Obama's opponents.
