there was only one incident of a politician getting shot during a friendly hunting trip with very unusual circumstances. for unclear reasons, the victim was afraid to get treated for days and tried to keep it out of the press initially. ....................... Kennedy tried the same crap (not reporting something that you or i would be in serious trouble if we didn't) when his car accidentally slipped off the bridge, until he got legal counsel how best to damage control. Kennedy's situation was an accident, but i don't think he even got a DUI! :o)
