Can you name a repub who is actually for healthcare to even bring in? not talking about McCain when it was a national election talking point. And if/when bluedogs, at least some of them, talk about cutting things like the F-22, about cutting farm subsidies to well-off farmers... stuff like that... they might sound like fiscal conservatives, or at least 'wise managers of money' who are 'looking our for us'. right now most of it is only when it is convenient for them. slow in order to get the best bill written that covers people and brings down costs, and reins in the for-profit (big profits) insurance companies... yes. but there isn't much coming out of the bluedogs that point to that... but points to their lobbiests and donars. repubs have stated their position - defeat it in order to hurt Obama (and dems in general) ... 'negotiating' with such does not make sense when the purpose is a bill that works for americans.
