He said the woman who called in the 911 call told him that there were two black with backpacks on the porch. In fact, he never spoke to her at all. It would seem he made it up. Seems to me you and the DailyKOS are jumping to conclusions and labeling the guy a liar without knowing who is lying about what. How do you know it wasn't Whalen who was lying? How do you know the officer didn't simply make a mistake about this unimportant aspect of the police report? Whalen's attorney has said tonight that Whalen does not believe the police acted inappropriately, and further, that she heard ONE PERSON screaming at that was Gates. If you know that, then you know Crowley was not truthful in his report. Its why I don't trust cops.

How do you know it wasn't Whalen who was lying? How do you know the officer didn't simply make a mistake about this unimportant aspect of the police report? Crowley said she saw two black men break into the house. That is correct. However she did not know they were black at the time. So there is no lying and not exactly a mistake, though he should have stated she didn't know their race at the time. The lie is apparently made by Ted. No I am not sure he is intelligent enough to twist the truth that much, he must have gotten it from his Communist web sites.
