Yes, unless I am mistaken as to Mr. Gates race, he had the facts correct. The police report seems to be a well-written recollection of the facts to me. But if the officer showed up on scene to find a black man in the house, he talked to Whalen and she said "two men", I could see how those facts could be commingled in the police report. It would not, in my view, undermine the officer's credibility one iota. It is basically an attempt at misdirection to bring this up.
