No one has ever accused Obama's mother of acting sensibly. She seems to have been fascinated by other cultures and repelled by her own culture. Stanley may have thought it was perfectly fine to have a baby in her husband's Kenyan village as opposed to a sterile hospital on Oahu.

It's a fact that she was in Africa late in her pregnancy.


So she irresponsibly hoped on a plane back to the states - like Sarah Palin did? :-)
