They sure do! I took mine to the vet late morning because of her chronic ear problems. Sure enough, she has an inflammation from food allergies despite my diligence in making sure she avoids wheat, chicken, corn and beef. The darned food is expensive and still she suffers these problems. Doc said the ear was so swollen she couldn't see into the canal. Did a swab of the yukky gunk that accumulates in the ear and found out it is a bacteria. So we have her on Prednisone and an antibiotic, and may need to be knocked out to dig it out.

Through all of this.......droopy ear, itching and shaking head a lot and rubbing it all the time.......she is just sweet and genuinely happy to be fed, petted and loved.
