You asked about scanned documents, which means the long form. It can have addresses, pregnancy history, education levels, etc...

It's nearly fifty years ago. There should be no problem releasing any of that, esp. to quell these birther rumors. Who will be hurt by the details of Stanley Ann Dunham's addresses and pregnancy history?

They are quick enough to release confidential info on anybody they consider an enemy, cf. Joe the Plumber.

There are only two possibilities: Maybe they like the birther rumors, figuring they do more damage to the GOP than to Obama. Or maybe there is something really embarrassing on the Certification of Live Birth. An unmarried mother, for example.
