Now how many zygotes could 420 million zygotes beget??? HMMMMM... Eventually the planet would be overrun and people would start to starve to death like all creatures do when their food supply and their habitat is gone. Does anyone think these dilettantes would be running around then saying, "save the zygotes. Let my son or my wife die??" Population zero or even reduction is a reality in many cultures and doesn't require abortion to succeed. The concept of reducing human populations before it is too late has been brought up for centuries as a reason to do something drastic. Yet, the end didn't come even though we are far beyond predictions of the past. We've done all kinds of drastic things with noble seeming concepts to justify them, like the idea maintaining pristine nature, or one child per family in China, which hasn't turned out well because of the birth rate ration thing. Even without that law we got the same negative effect in India. Drastic stuff just seems to happen even when we don't do anything, and we may be headed for one of those, pandemics, or global famine or catastrophic Earth events, who knows. The fastest growing global crime is human trafficking and it aint pretty. In America and Russia I've read reports of problems related to withering populations, Huhh? I look around at thirty something people who don't want children and I scratch my head, but that is a common societal reaction in developed nations. There are children who already exist and are unwanted. There are more adoptable children in the world than all the school aged children in America. Well hold on now for a sec. Things get very complicated when we look at the populations of humans and start talking management. The women's movement was right about a couple of things. One of them being that all these men aren't necessary. One well hung stud can repopulate whole communities and women work well together. They have shown they can do any job men can do. I've looked at this problem and can honestly say what I think would be best, at least wrt my interests. Get rid of the undesirable human beings. First all the damn ugly women, then all the unnecessary males. That leaves me with a nice herd of beautiful women and I can't think of one bad thing to say about that. However, since that probably isn't doable. ... Wait, how did we get off on talking about me? Oh yeah, we were talking about what makes something a person, and what would be right for a person, and I'm one.
