But he is also clearly saying that there is a contradiction in their public positions... where they are simultaneously complaining that the 'cost is too high' while ALSO advocating for polices that will raise the costs even higher. (Nothing changes in the old game of 'bringing the pork back home to your district' though, I suppose. :-)
