Newspaper accounts? I think what you mean is a birth announcement?

I'm not aware of a birth announcement being legal proof of anything.

Just sayin...I'd rather not push the conspiracy angle...but all this stuff isn't proof of anything either.

There are contemporaneous newspaper accounts of Obama's birth in Hawaii. He has other reasons for keeping the long form under wraps.

From what I've read the newspaper notifications came automatically from the hospital. If Obama's mother applied for and received a COLB chances are that it too would be added to the data sent to the papers, so that doesn't necessarily prove much....
