This is one of the most detailed analysis I have seen. Thanks for posting that.

It takes a lot of time to read. I would love to do some dividing into paragraphs to make this more readable----without changing one word. Quite frankly I don't have the time to do that just now.

One comment I will make is that it was the posting on the internet on the Daily Kos site that caused many people to take a close look at the supposed certificate on the net.

When I saw the Daily Kos posting----it was like bells and whistles went off, every intuitive sense was awakened.

Immediately, I opened a box of paper files I have with some Hawaiian certificates and saw immediately that the internet copy was not original.

It was obvious as we mathematicians say that it was not the original certificate and maybe was even a photoshopped form.

The article you posted is an excellent description of the nuances of the Hawaiian requirements for various levels of reporting for certificates of birth-----some being nothing more than acknowledging that the child was born somewhere.

Thanks for posting this resource going back to the early time of the posting of the certificate to the present of 2009.
