I recall someone writing here that Ascend just repriced employee options at 34 15/16 or thereabouts. We are quite far from that price. Is the takeover possiblity the only thing keeping people in the stock right now? I find it surprising that the stock cannot rise on its own merit. Even if Ascend denies being in buyout/merger talks, the stock should rise on fundamentals alone. Any thoughts...other than placing bets on if Ascend will close the year above $XX or such?
