Pelosi is such a pipsqueak. It's too bad Obama doesn't have a grownup like Tom Foley sitting in that chair right now when he needs some sound leadership on the Hill. I think Obama is finding his way like all first-term presidents. It's unfortunate he crammed so much into a period that is partly learning curve, but the moderates are putting on the brakes and maybe getting us back to a sane pace. Time will tell. Still way too early to draw far-reaching snap conclusion about anything, IMHO.
