I don't see it, Steve. Though it may be a misnomer to use the term "healthcare industry." There may well be so many much more narrowly construed interests that it's hard to label it an effort to kill the whole bill.

But it's quite clear a ton of money, from sources within that industry, is going into trying to kill the bill--delay the vote, lie about its provisions, etc.

I think the health care industry would desperately like to see a bill passed that requires everyone have health insurance -- their private health insurance.
