guru, cpq has cost dell some home sales. dell has said they don't want the lower priced sales since they don't compete well at that level... no hate mail pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaseeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!<ggg> The dataquest and idc report clearly showed that HP got back some US market share and that dell is doing great. And, cpq has an unprecedented marketshare and somehow can make money selling a sub 800 and sub 1000 pc..they just released a sub 1000 mmx pc. In fact I would have to go back to the early 80's to find someone with the market share numbers that cpq has. At that time IBM had those share numbers. You certainly have set me up.... I guess you are just trying to stir up the thread.<gg>
