Seems to me there are three categories of people in relation to health insurance.

1. Those who qualify for Medicaid
2. Those who don't qualify for Medicaid and didn't purchase insurance or have it as a benefit
3. Those with at least some minimal or better health insurance as a partial or full benefit, including Medicare.

What the Govt is saying to those who don't qualify for Medicaid and don't have insurance is, you make enough money to pay for it yourself, but choose not to. To me that is the American Way. How dare the Govt legislate to anybody what I have to buy through fines they call taxes? If I want to buy cigarettes, alcohol, a boat or whatever instead of buy health care insurance for myself or my family, that's my business. Next they are going to fine me for buying meat or beef instead of chicken or fish. And Jake you are so right about the Dems trying trick people into thinking somebody else is paying for insurance besides themselves.
