We bought a house in Norfolk when I was in the Navy. Prior owners had dogs and while we shampooed carpets we were infested with sand fleas we realized upon moving in. It took 2/3 applications from the bug man to rid us of them. Unreal

There are quite a few of them in my yard. At least I think that is what is biting me on the ankles. Look like flea bites? They're definitely not chiggers. :(
