Whatever they are giving up, it is surely to preclude something that they believe would be even worse for them...

True but they always have the option of rolling the dice and opposing the whole thing and hoping nothing gets passed. The guy that heads PhRMA (former Rep congressman I think... bailed to become a lobbiest) sounded like Obama, or me... doing nothing is the worst option. A certain health care train wreck.

It's sort of interesting that all of us, on both sides, have been posting to this thread for years and suddenly the whole thing seems to be coming to a head. Whatever happens I suppose there will be many years of 'post mortem' (no pun intended).
