Well, the market in Hong Kong has already stumbled in early trading. Looks like the investors over there have had enough and decided to take what little value yesterday's session had given back to them. This isn't neccessarily going to be an indication of what our markets here are going to do, but I believe that the DOW will follow their lead to some extent.
This may not be a big deal as far as IFCI investors are concerned but keep in mind that the lower the price of IFCI's stock, the less it will be worth when it comes time to use it as financing for their future acquisition. WorldCom is appearing to have the same problem in their bid for MCI.
I would also like to mention the importance of share dilution. It is not important whether "x" is 100% correct in his/her assesment of current or future share dilution.
What is important is that IFCI is obviously priced based on a forward looking P/E. If that is the case, then the P/E that everyone is touting had better be based on the income divided by the shares that will be outstanding in the future as well.
