Jim, deep in the money puts are as good as shorting the stock ... also provides some protection. You almost get dollar for dollar on the way down, and if it goes against you, you salvage some.

I've been shorting these Y2K stocks since last year, being nimble enought not to get burned. But now, the camel's back is broken and it should be easier to short all of these. Zitel is still the worst, that should be a $2 stock.

BTW, has anyone discussed the Asian currency crisis effect on all these Y2K automated processing companies. An even stronger dollar now can buy a lot cheaper overseas labor to do Y2K stuff.
