That's my feeling as well so far, based on the tiny bit of info they published.... but I don't think it's fair to ruin a young man's life without giving him a chance to defend himself. If there is a pattern, then clearly he should not be on the force.

In any case, this cop's feeling about race have nothing at all whatsoever to do with the Crowley - Gates thing. And yet, I sense this story is used as some sort of subliminal "moral equivalency" argument in favor of those who claim the police is racist. edit - as if Obama and Gates are right through "guilt by association".
