Yes, sort of crazy, but it is a sort of enlightened idea. What you are missing is the thesis, that only the liberals peer into the future with any insight. Like being a vegetarian. I am not a vegetarian, but I feel people who are, because they do not want to kill animals of higher conciousness are a better person than I.
