mish, but hasn't the S&P been doing the inverse of the dollar? if the dollar rises, it implies the S&P falls, unless something has changed that effects the recent historical linkage.

I am 100% in agreement with you regarding ewave. There are so many gurus out there claiming they can call the market using it and that it is objective and they don't even agree with each other. I have never found it useful and largely ignore it in my trading. lj

The USD chart shows us the relative performance of the USD against other currencies. I much prefer this chart which shows the relative performance of the USD and other currencies against gold. Down we go for the reason you mentioned: competitive debasement.
