They can buy state of the art from other countries besides us. They are POOR because communism is an abysmal failure. Cuba is a hellhole. Why do you think people risk their lives to get out?

Think what Cuba could do without an embargo. Doctors train from all over the world in Cuba now, students that could never afford to become doctors anywhere else.

We have to keep them down, or people might start thinking communism works.
