I guess the Obama birther issue is mostly a southern phenomenon:

Wow, more people in the south are "not sure" or think he wasn't born in the US, than think we was! I had a brother in law from New York who actually told my mother (who was born and raised in Florida) that all southerns were stupid. Maybe he was right.

I am not sure they are stupid but I think they are a lot more racist than they pretend to not be. What's most disturbing to me is that the South is so out of step with the other three regions. Its like trying to go forward with dead weight holding you back.

Then the first thing they do is move there. Makes no sense unless they have fowled their own state.
