Hi Mohan, >4) why Boeing, with huge order backlog, is not able to deliver even at the peak of the cycle? Can you confidently say Malaysian Airlines or Indonesian airlines will not cancell orders to Boeing due to the turmoil in their countries? If this the best Boeing can do in boom times, what happens to them during a bust?

How are you doing with this volatility? It sure does not feel good to me. This problem at Boeing can be explained. How do you double your production capacity overnight building these animals without huge costs and delayed deliveries. You just can't. Your comment: can some of their customers taking delivery on orders is valid. If Boeing is building capacity and this capacity becomes unused in the future it could create a real mess. One thing we do know is the integrity of the global fleet is getting weak and a large number of planes will require replacement and or upgrades.

BTW, the rest of your items are concerns to me also.

Joan

Isn't the peak in the cycle is precisely when (if ever) Boeing should have trouble meeting demand?
