The dealer has to crush the trade in............that's part of the deal. My husband is a wholesale dealer and he told me all those trade-ins MUST be crushed so it's hurting his business in a big way. The customer can push his car onto the new dealer lot and get the money............in a few cases people have taken their cars out of repair shops and had the car towed to the dealers.
