It assays copper but not gold no idea about aluminium - it is a big step from bagging, tagging and shipping rock samples which we still do to verify the unit. Like a walking magnetometer our unit had an onboard gps that sent data via a satellite phone 3,016.92 km back to the office. The cheap eTrex Venture HC is the best gps on the market. I picked up three at a Wal Mart in Tucson, Arizona for under $500. The fancy Juno Trimble unit that cost several thousand dollars per unit was not any more accurate.
