“There is no point in meeting with my constituents and [to] listen to them and have them listen to you if what is basically an unruly mob prevents you from having an intelligent conversation.” As usual, the congressman is missing the point. When the vast majority of the bill congress is trying to shove down our throats doesn't do any of the things it's supposed to do or, according to the CBO, cost much more than the politicians are spouting, people can tell their congress is lying to them because their lips are moving........ When people are consistently bald faced lied too they get pissed!

I am going to keep a watch on my reps web sites, and I am also going to try to find one of the "groups" that have been given permission to meet with them. I would love to find out where these prearranged meetings are going to take place and picket the front of the building. I'm sure the staff would try to run me off and I might end up getting arrested too. In any event...........I'm on this like white on rice, and will try to find an organized "group" with conservative values. I want to meet with my reps and feel very insulted and actually cheated about their decisions not to hold town hall meetings.
