John Stossel has a different take on Medicare:

Another denier...he's talking about what no one wants to face, which is that elders need to be cared for and there is no solution other than to manage down costs, make the system more efficient and pay up for the inevitable....for the system today? well I've experienced it first hand recently...it worked for us...very well in fact.


John Stossel is a hardcore winger who works very hard to slant his material to the winger cause.

Al, I'm sure Stossel has his own ideas, which even I think are a little radical, but the point is that Medicare is far from efficient.

That's what we'll have to tolerate in order to ensure that everyone gets "free" health care. There is no free lunch.
