If, OTOH, you were simply predicting something a bit more nuanced that the killing of patients, say, that under nationalized health care patients with low quality of life might eventually be denied payment for treatment to marginally extend their lives, I would not have challenged you. Predictions have a lower standard of proof than conclusions. And I wouldn't be at all surprised if that one came true. I wouldn't be surprised either. I view the dramatization as illustrative. We all know Michael J Fox won't be put to death. 'Norman Anonymous' in the same condition might be effectively sentenced to death though. But no one knows Norman.
