re: [""I felt our last chance for a peaceful resolution was
for Ron Paul, Lou Dobbs, Glenn Beck, Rush, Hannity etc.
to unite ..."

Surely you jest.

Ron Paul is the only one on that list that is not a perpetrator
of the status quo. The rest sold their souls to the highest bidder long ago."]

--------------

You miss the point.

To stop this madness we need numbers... massive numbers.

Ron Paul and his supporters (of which I am one) can not
do it alone. And we are deluding ourselves in believing
we can. Our tent must grow, and Ron Paul must reach out.

And a one man movement is an easy target. Ask Ross Perot.

What happens if something happens to Ron Paul?

What if he doesn't run in 2012?

Where are we then?

And do NOT think HR 1207 is a magic bullet, because it's not.

Far, far too many people have put all their eggs in the
HR 1207 basket and are now sitting back to see what happens.

...and that's a recipie for disaster

And obviously, MSNBC's Keith Olberman & Rachel Maddow, or
CNN's Wolf Blitzer & Campbell Brown, are not going to encourage
their viewers to stand up and rise up against this administration.
And they've already expressed their views on anyone who attends
a Tea Party.

My point is this...

There's a common thread held by the viewers and the listeners
of those I've named. And it's not Sean Hannity's, or Rush's
extremist Republican bias that I want to draw on, it's the
underlying common thread of their listeners and viewers.

And that common thread is the simple basic values that this
country was built upon. And those core values, like clinging
to our God, and our guns, are under attack.

As is sound money, capitalism, free markets, our legislative
process, and our most basic rights like free speech and privacy.

We've moved from a post 911 assault on the Constitution and
the Bill of Rights, where we traded our freedom for a police
state in the name of the safety from an invisible enemy
called terror...

To now, an assault on our economy, free markets, and the
legislative and governing process.

Every week we get a new unelected Czar and a government that
is pushing rapidly to seize more than the 40% of US GDP
they now control.

And the nationalized Health Care and Cap & Trade bills are
not just about health care and energy. They are about new,
and permanent government structures.

Structures like the government having direct electronic access
to your bank accounts (read the bill), mandatory ongoing data
mining and data basing of all your financial transactions, and
personal information from BMV records to Real Estate transactions.

These structures are bridges to hell, and tools of total
compliance, where government will have complete and total
control over the citizenry.

As little as a year and a half ago, the mainstream media
would not even cover, or acknowledge the existence of the
Bilderberg group and conference, or acknowledge the
underlying views and goals of organizations like the CFR.

But, that's changed...

Politico.com and now some major U.S. newspapers are commenting
on Bilderberg...

Message 25499100

politico.com

And even Sean Hannity and Dick Morris, acknowledged that what
those they formerly chastised as "conspiracy theorists" had
been warning about, is now happening... a move towards global
governance.

youtube.com

Three main points...

1. We need more numbers than Ron Paul can deliver.

2. We need to focus on what we have in common, what unites us,
and on what we agree upon, not our differences.

3. Time is of essence, as the Health Care bill and Cap & Trade
will not only give government birth to death control, and the
ability to implement a tax on humanity itself, but the fundamental
structures which will serve as a bridge to implementing a
complete totalitarian state.

All 9 parts of "The Soviet Story" (90 minutes total),
are now up on You Tube. But, it won't be for long...

youtube.com

Let me be blunt.

You can be ahead of the curve and understand what's coming,
and be in the position to make informed decisions, and have
time to prepare.

Or, you can remain behind the curve and uninformed, because
of denial, and/or apathy... and you can become a victim.

Simple agenda here people....

We dramatically increase the number of people who know
what's coming and move them to take action, or we all
go down together.

This isn't about your taxes going up a couple grand a year.

This isn't about being pushed into a nationalized, health
care system.

This is about the complete and total transformation of America
into something most of you do not yet fathom.

Throughout history, entire societies failed to act upon the
early warning signs they received, and when they finally
awakened to the truth, it was too late.

Listen to this video from Rahm Emmanuel and his extremist
views about the citizens "owing" work and service to the
state... and remember his zealot extremism when you watch
George Bernard Shaw's comments later...

youtube.com

And don't fail to understand what ACORN and the Obama's
other "community organizer" groups really are, and
their direct descendancy from what you will see over,
and over again in THE SOVIET STORY.

youtube.com

And don't fail to understand how every fascist state
always goes after the youth... from Hitler, to Stalin,
to Mao... always the indoctrination of the youth.

youtube.com

And then watch video #3 of THE SOVIET STORY where British
playwright George Bernard Shaw talks about the support
of the western intelligentsia for Hitler's efficiencies
of governance, and how fast he was instituting CHANGE,
"in ways parliaments could not do."

...just bypassing democracy and the existing legislative
processes of the time.

-- sound familiar?

Listen to Shaw's elitist views on the lower classes owing
their labor to the state, and how the underclass (anyone
other than them), should have to come to the state and
quote: "justify their existence to us." Are they producing
more for the state than they are consuming? Are they now
old, and infirm? And then he endorses government euthanasia
via a painless method of those unproductive and infirm.

Think about the new health care plan when you listen to
Shaw's words.

Shaw was a reflection of the elitist intelligentsia in
the West at the time of the rise of Hitler, Stalin, and
Mussolini. And few people realize how the West, including
the U.K. and the United States, said good things about
Hitler, Stalin, and Mussolini in the early stages of
their "change."

Read Jonah Goldberg's excellent book - "Liberal Fascism"
for an account of America and the West's initial love
affair with all fascist regimes.

Ghandi wrote praise of Hitler early on, and even sent
him personal letters.

Will Rogers, and American Institution said this of Mussolini:

"Dictatorship is the greatest form of government, if you
have the right dictator."

The New York Times wrote in 1923:

"Mussolini is a latin Teddy Roosevelt who first acts, and
then asks if it is legal."

In 1927 in a poll of US readers of the Literary Digest,
listed Mussolini as the top choice of "Great Men",
followed by Thomas Edison, Marconi, Orville Wright,
Henry Ford, and George Bernard Shaw (don't miss Shaw's
speech in video #3 linked below).

And the top American magazines of the day like McClures,
and McCalls fawned, and feigned over the early Mussolini.

Winston Churchill dubbed Mussolini "the greatest living
lawgiver" of the time.

And Sigmuend Freud, and Albert Einsten sang his praises,
sought his autograph, and sent him letters of praise.

The early promises of change always attract the people,
but once the nose of the fascist camel/state get's under
the tent, it's too late to stop them.

Mussolini was about a cult of personality. He was highly
intelligent, he was charming, he had a magnetic personality,
and above all, he was a mesmerizing speaker who appealed to
people of all classes.

...sound familiar?

The early ambiguous promises of change, and the consolidation
of power to the elites always attracts the intelligentsia,
who also end up getting slaughtered, because far, far more
people think they are part of the elite, than ever end up
being part of the elite.

And the lower classes are always attracted by the promises
of fascism too. They are always promised something for
nothing, and revenge upon the rich. And in the end, they
end up getting slaughtered, imprisoned, and impoverished.

In the beginning the people loved Mussolini's change,
but in the end, they hung him, and drug his body through
the streets.

History teaches... but, we fail to learn.

Please listen to George Bernard Shaw's comments here.
They start at about the :40 second mark here on part III
of THE SOVIET STORY.

youtube.com

I dare you to watch THE SOVIET STORY and not see scores
of relevant references to what we are seeing unfold in
America today.

At the entrance to the Nazi concentration camps they had
signs that read:

"Arbeit Machts Frei", or Work Makes You Free.

And in the Soviet Union, their signs over their work
camps read: "Work (for the State) Is An Honor.

Pay attention to the message about "communitarianism."

How we all "owe" the state our labor and our service.

Watch how they go after the children and push them into
state organizations and service.

Watch how we will be brough-beaten down and made to believe
that this economic collapse is our fault, and how we must
make sacrifices, and all pull together.

These are core principles of Marxism, communism and socialism.

And don't get hung up on the differences between the 'isms.

...because life is hell under all of them.

The shift from a government that fears the people,
to a people that fear their government has already arrived.

You need to pay very, very, close attention to this message
about the people owing labor, and service to the state,
because it too, is a core principle of the 'ism state.

Please heed Ronald Regan's words, and don't think it can't
happen here, because it is happening here...

"Freedom is never more than one generation from extinction."

-- President Ronald Reagan

One of three models but I see your ego is now so big you cannot even consider what others think and share...

Why bother to post the other two!

I understand now why this thread is about dead and what a total waste of time it has become.

As for the war; it will be about further consolidation of power by the state in America. Look me up in a few years and tell me what has happened.

What I see on the net is a complete inability to think and see beyond what one thinks and sees.

Good Lord - You are now generally looking sideways to UP until late 2010?

Then WWIII?

Don't discount the possibility, although I doubt a conflict between nuclear powers in likely. It could become a proxy war, or possibly an issue involving Pakistan and/or Iran, or even N. Korea.

Economics often drive Politics, until such a point where Politics is forced to drive economics. And one thing the Politicians have control over is going to war.

WWII played a definite impact in restoring a demand curve in the US economy.
