Let's face it there is really only one way to "make" money. Moving it around isn't making it. WS always plays a game that can't be won, regardless of their intentions. WS is an expense item on the great balance sheet of any country. The expense shrinks as a percentage when income from the real economy is high and blows out percentage-wise when it is next to impossible to make money the old fashion way, like it has been in the preceding decade and a half. What should be examined is why it is so difficult to make real money in this country. BTW that movie referenced in your link (There Will be Blood) was so creepy I had a really hard time sitting through it and I usually love just about anything that Daniel Day Lewis is in. The musical score was like nails on a blackboard and the color in the film reminded my of my worst film processing nightmares. If that was their intention, to make your skin crawl and have you feeling slightly sick to your stomach, it was well executed.
