I agree with you but what is wrong with these people who believe their crap.

These are vulnerable, older folks...some of them don't believe it, but some do, and add them to the partisans who won't support anything a dem does, and the selfish who are happy with their self interested status quo, and you have the making of what's been happening in the polls on the subject.

You know.....I just don't have too much sympathy for them. I know I should but they seem to be all too willing victims......and like McMannis, all too willing to believe the worst.

I think the reason so many are willing to believe is that they don't trust anything that comes out of Washington regardless of Party, or anything that comes out of politicians mouth

My rule is that if the person saying works in Washington or is a pol you need to check it out.

The Sr. Citizen Euthenasia kerfuffle was started by the former Lt. Governor of N.Y. Bestsy dont remember last name, who made the claim. In fairness to her a casual reading might have caused one to come to the same conclusion she did. It has to be read closely and in connection with other laws before you can understand the section.

Anyway there is such mistrust of governmment and people are ready to believe the worst --- and ususally this turns out to be the case.
