He didn't want to "privatize Social Security," he wanted to make it available for those who wanted that they could invest their money the way they want... you're wrongly presuming that everyone would put all their money into the stock market, that's a huge mistake in your logic... but, even if everyone did put all their money into the stock market, it would have added more liquidity and have kept the markets stable through the worst of times... There is not one program the government has created that works, i.e., Medicare is broke, social security is broke, the postal service is broke, and so on... and now they want to create yet another government agency which will go broke as well.. how stupid can people be... don't you think congress should eat what they cook? Shouldn't they also be required to take obama's plan? They won't, that won't happen... I say thank goodness it will never happen, except maybe a watered down version which will also fail anyhow... obama is a disgrace to everything America stands for, he's a megalomaniac... GZ
