HNU Open-ended mutual fund trust the objective of which is to deliver double the performance of the NYMEX natural gas futures contract for the next delivery month (aiming to deliver +200% of the gain or -200% of the loss). The Fund invests in financial instruments which it is believed in combination will simulate +/-200% of the performance of the NYMEX natural gas futures contract for the next delivery month. The Fund uses leveraged investment techniques so that its exposure to the NYMEX natural gas futures contract may be double its cash and cash equivalents invested. The proceeds of the initial offering of units have initially been invested in a Canadian equity portfolio which is the subject of a forward agreement of purchase and sale with a Canadian chartered bank or its affiliate such that the price payable by the bank or affiliate for the portfolio is based on a two times multiple of the daily performance of the NYMEX natural gas futures contract.
